Do you have shin pain?

It may be coming from two different muscles on each side of your shin bone. The tibialis anterior and tibialis posterior.

Both muscles have different jobs when it comes to walking, running, jumping, and general mobility. But relief can be found in both areas by applying some simple lacrosse ball massage.

To locate the Tibialis Anterior:

Find your shin bone and move just OUTSIDE

Search for tight/sore areas

With pressure of the ball over a selected area, gentle move the foot up/down

To located the Tibialis Posterior:

Find your shin bone and move just INSIDE

Search for tight/sore areas

With pressure of the ball over a selected area, gentle move the foot up/down

*For both techniques it is important to massage only muscle and not bone. Stay away from the bone, it won’t feel good!
